Jan 4th, 2018Some cherry, wild raspberry, blackberry. Hint of tartness. Medium tannins. Good strong finish that lingers. Very good without food, but should be excellent with food.

Aug 21st, 2015Talk about brooding, this wine took two days to fully unwind. Deep, dark color in the glass. This inexpensive Rhone Zone gem; will wow the palates of the more discerning and veteran wine drinkers, while easily scaring away the uninitiated. A cuvée prestige blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre. I thought that perhaps, the percentages were a bit skewed, considering its muscular profile. A smokey, meaty wine offering generous dark fruits, pasted over taught tannins from Domaine La Soumade in the Rasteau appellation.
