Domaine Leflaive
Les Folatières Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay
Decanted for 4 hours. Medium gold color. A nose to die for. Notes of apricot and stone pit fruit, white acacia flowers, sweet kiwi, tan spice, citrus and wet river stone. Lucious in the mouth with a massive core of fruit matched against tantalizing acidity. The finish goes on forever. This was sublime. Look up “awesome white burg” and you should see a picture of this.

Jan 5th, 2022Medium gold color. Heavy in the glass. Huge perfume in the nose. Notes of apricot, petrol, lemon, wet river stone and white chalky dirt. Grand Cru impact. Great acidity develops with air that creates an amazing balance of fruit and structure with a lasting impression. Leflaive hit it out of the park in 99 and it shows tonight. .

Sep 2nd, 2015Great lt gold color and vibrant nose with stone, honeyed fruit and petrol notes. Opened really nicely over 4 hrs, and had a long finish with nice acidity to match the rich fruit. This is really good.
