Medium light lemon yellow colour . This is quite reserved and closed , quite a difference from the incorrect Pucelles . Quite mineral , chalky and stony , touch of struck match , white flowers , some lemon pith , focused and detailed , with the freshness the Pucelles lacked. On the palate this is denser and richer than the nose suggests with lemon peel , touch of white peach , chalky and mineral , excellent extract and good freshness . Quite long rich and intense but still really well balanced finish . This needs more time , I would leave this another 3-5 years and will last well a further 10 years . — 2 months ago
Olivier’s craft is impeccable, even in Bourgogne.
Slightly sour Meyer lemons, lime zest, ripe pineapple flesh, green melons, cream, caramel & butterscotch notes, sea spray, oysters, volcanic minerals, shade of mushroom, sea fossils, some ginger, yellow flowers/lilies with greens, round vicious acidity, good balance, well knitted & elegant finish that lasts 90 seconds and long sets on minerals & spice.

So good for my palate to be back in France.
Tart Granny-Smith green apples, Meyer lemons, lime, underripe pineapple flesh, kiwi, underripe green melon, light caramel notes, some honey, paraffin, limestone with volcanic minerals, sea fossils, saline, tiny chalk bits, toast, hints of mint & dry herbs, Spring white flowers, jasmine, excellent acidity, well balanced, just firm structure/tensioned, elegant & nicely polished finish that lasts 90 seconds and long sets on minerals.

Light on its feet with integrated oak and all elements in balance. Not high on complexity or intensity, but spot-on drinkable Burgundy, if a bit overpriced. — 8 days ago
