2001 vintage. In magnum. At the Leflaive dinner, Scott's. Medium golden hue. Quite a lot of manure and Earth on the nose here. Dried fruits - hint of oxidation. Honeyed and nutty. Quite complex. On the palate, medium plus acidity, medium alcohol and concentration and fairly long finish. Very enjoyable. Not sure if this wine will improve much from here. Drink now.

2001 vintage Les Folatieres. Medium lemon hue. Mineral and lemony, earthy and inviting. Medium plus Intensity. On the palate, medium plus acidity, medium plus concentration, medium alcohol and good length. A very attractive wine, but not a knock out. Drink now until 2025.
