This wine continued to evolve in the glass, so be sure to savor it. Tannins were pretty smooth, but present. Complex layers of leather, plum, black cherry, white pepper, a touch of black licorice, and nutmeg. Maybe even some ginger? Paired fantastically with roasted duck breast!
