Most floral, candied, and pretty of the bunch. Again, black tea and roobois blend with dark cherries. Very slight undertone of rusticity and iron. Subtle hint of spices as well. Elegantly textured and well balanced. Rousseau and Mugneret Gibourg really know how to knock it out of the park.

1996 - Brett on the nose, which slowly blows off into fresh pot roast, mushrooms, candied orange peel, and hints of spearmint. A bit tight, but slowly opened to ripe cranberries, wet soil, mushrooms, and a lingering finish. Certainly requires a couple hours to decant and has a long life ahead.
