2001 Domaine Pavelot Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru - Smoke, barbecue pork, baked cherries, and mushrooms on the nose. Bright and ripe cherries and blackberries on the palate accented with cinnamon and nutmeg, subtle cocoa and caramel on the mid-palate with juicy plums, and a spicy, mushroom-y finish.
