Brought to a friend’s and it stole the show. Mint raspberry rainbow unicorn. — a month ago
Another epic Fichots from Girard. Deep deep mid to late season cherry and glorious spice. Wow the fruit in 22 is so aromatically expressive at the moment. Just gorgeous. Stunning palate with deep deep fruit but also those fierce Fichot tannins. Juicy, silky and sweet but structured and epic. Wow the tannins. This needs mega air but this is a monumental Fichots. Tasting today and still a beast but has that absurd 22 fruit. I’d wait a decade at least. — 4 months ago
Pale lemon in colour. Creamy and mealy on the palate. More citrus than stone fruit. M plus intensity on Medium bodied palate. A great effort for a village white burgundy. Adjacent to the Hill of Corton with many of its attributes. Points off for a ridiculously heavy bottle - seems to be PYCM Policy. — 13 days ago
Best wine of the pairing menu. If I ever go back here. It’s not because of the wine. — a month ago
Different, serious, less of a structured discussion and more of a Hunter S. Thomson missive. Paired well with salted raw corn. — 3 months ago
Fantastic for the attentive taster. Gained power after 20, then 30 minutes. Wow. — 13 days ago
Velvety vanilla, light oak notes, not dissimilar to California chards but less oak — 12 days ago
