Cuvée De Mon Aïeul Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

Some oxidation brought this down from 9.7 or 9.8. Decanting opened it but did not increase the ox. Last bottle, some were like this one, some were near perfection. Suggest drink now.

2011 still amazingly ripe, acid holding up well.

2001 vintage. Dark fruit, mild spice, licorice. Beautiful decanted.

Dusty, juniper, exotic sweet spices, prettiest out of all and relatively cool. Medium high alcohol, medium plus finish.
