Wow - violets cherrry mushrooms raspberry fruit amazing balance

All you can ask for in a burgundy.. big violets, cherry fruit, cola, undergrowth, toasty notes and amazing acid. Yum!

This was very accessible for a producer that makes some very ageworthy wines. I purchased some Chevillon Roncieres 09 after enjoying this.

One of the better Chevillon wines I've had in awhile. Balanced, nice mix between primary and tertiary.

Drinking quite nicely right now. Not as complex as I like my Burgs to be but still fresh, vibrant and juicy.

05. Slow start with a big fat nose. Opens beautifully but give it time.

Tight. Irony. Big rustic tannin

More terroir than you can shake a stick at!

Just perfect Nuits. Perennially under appreciated.
