Auxey-Duresses 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Sour apple skin. Still after 4 hour decant. Super reductive on opening. A curious wine but I didn’t enjoy it.

Very rough. Angular, green tannins and none of the usual Roulot elegance. Not sure I would even have called Pinot on this one if blind.
Maybe in an awkward phase?

Tasty but love white roulot ;).

Could have been PN from anywhere. Didn't have the same charm or ethereal character that I've seen in other Auxeys
