Wow this really showed up. A previous bottle was a little tired, and this was the opposite. Spicy, fresh, lively, versatile with food, jumping out of the glass. Really enjoyed at a Philly byob

Dec 20th, 2018Have been really excited about Pataille. Really liked his aligote offerings and the various Marsannay rouge I’ve had have overperformed. This wine was good but fairly advanced. Deep golden color and some gentle oxidation, though still a fair amount of zip and verve. I’m hoping my second bottle is fresher, otherwise it’ll fit in better as a cheese pairing in the future. Continue to be impressed with what I’ve had from Pataille. This has very nice aromatics, and a complex and deep flavor profile. Minerally with a long finish. Medium / full body. Delicious.
