Underripe strawberry, currant and cherry, acidity aired out quickly to oakiness and hints of forest air. Reminded me of maturing Italian sangiovese too. Flavorful but was hoping for more paired with venison tenderloin. Should've picked Rioja or Ribera del Duero.

Enjoyed the red fruit complimented by aromas of roses, lavender, baking spices, and wet leaves.
