Crozes-Hermitage Syrah

Great value and expression of varietal.

Olives and protein and brambly red and black fruit. Prickly tannins. Exhibiting great typicity. Excited to see what he does with his own fruit.

Excellent Croze. Fruit forward, with hint of smokeyness and meatyness!!!
Perfect with great lamb chops.....
The nice liquorice and pepper finish was perfect!

Enjoyable, better on day two

2013 Crozes-Hermitage from @Garagiste_wine young, meaty, slightly Bretty/funky. Shows a lot of promise -
Couldn't resist trying this one but will sit on the rest.

Young, taut, should evolve well; underripe black berries, grapefruit, pepper, compost.

Great for the price. Strong meatiness marred by a touch of sulfur, which I'm sure dissipates with a bit of air.

This could be nothing but Northern Rhône syrah, with those pithy, meaty tannic notes and vibrant acidity with no shortage of fruit, but overwhelmed by the savory wothout feeling overly lean or rustic.

Delicious, forward, easy to pair with so many kinds of food. a more black fruit style but generous.. great wine for the price.

Meaty, with pepper and red fruit. I love it the more I let it open up!
