Nose is green Apple, citrus, almost lime, rock, has a vegetal quality that Chablis can have sometimes when it’s really minerally strong. Typical salinity there. Rounder than the 2014 and much more approachable. Less acid but acid still moderate. My favorite 1er Cru vineyard in Chablis.

Aug 8th, 2020Nose of a flinty lemon, palate has a wee bit of tropical fruit peeking out, oak is blowing off still. I'll update my notes as the wine opens.
Two hours in the wine is revealing.
Nose has waxy citrus skin, struck flint inside a new oak barrel that's also filled with grapefruits.
Palate has papaya, clean crushed minerals, bruised golden delicious apple, fading oak with limestone dust. Long finish, medium acidity.
