Clos Jebsal Vendange Tardive Turckheim Pinot Gris

Classic! Ripe peach, apricot, honey and yellow apple. M+ acid, m body. Long finish. Rich but not cloying mouthfeel.

Man this is some thick stuff. Like honey lemon chamomile tea, extra honey.

Drinking great now, but check back in 1000 years. May have outshined the foie. #tardyharvest

Very funky and mineral. Touch of petrol, pepper and cepes drizzled over abundant peach and apricot flavours. Sweetness seems to diminish a little, it's becoming somewhat less sweet towards the finish.

Golden and delicious

Paired with chocolate souffle with whipped cream and roast pistachios. The tropical nose played very well with the nuts. On the palate, this showed orange marmelade, and pineapple, mixed with some nice green notes. Fantastic acidity keeps things vibrant, full bodied, with caramel and a hint of clove...nice long finish.
