Les Princes Abbés Alsace Pinot Gris

Fresh, very well balanced. Went really well with the Salmon main and goats cheese, honey and and candied walnuts for dessert.

Straightforward but nice.

Tasted Blind. Could not have nailed it any better except the Alcohol. Was surprised to see 13.5 the fruit holds it well.

Stone fruit and a hint of spice, good acidity. Paired well with lemon butter brussels sprouts.

Gott. Tyngre än t.ex. Huff. Smörigt. Antagligen ekfatslagrat. Hade ca 7 gram socker - påminner aningens om dessertvin i första smaken (inte i sötma) tycker Johan. Inte snabbdrucket.

Really nice Pinot Gris. Nice and crisp. Had without food and it was still really good.

Classic Pinot Gris from south facing slopes in the Guebwiller valley in Alsace. Off dry on the palate with some apple, pear and a touch of citrus. With good acidity and minerality, the wine did open up some more in the glass. Still youthful, it had a very refreshing mouthfeel. This would pair well with fois gras and soft cheeses.

Bosc pears, honeyed almonds, gardenias, whipped cream, honeydew melon. Rounded acidity, silky-oily texture, medium bodied, long floral-melon finish. Best enjoyed slightly above room temperature, mineral driven, subtlety shines. A reminder to drink more Alsace.

Minerality.

Starts really clean not a remarkable wine at first. I enjoyed this less sweet & earthy Pino Noir
