It has been quite a while since I last drank a Laurent Burgundy. Sadly, the 200% oak treatment is just too much for Pinot Noir. Other dark red varieties maybe but this is too extreme with unresolved oak fragrance and tannins. Too bad: there is probably a nice wine buried underneath.
