Grapes for this wine come from traditional vineyards with steep slopes and slate soil. Pale lemon color with typical Riesling nose, showing fruit and floral. On the fruity palate typical of Mosel Riesling’s complements a pronounced mineral tone. Nicely balanced with acidity. Drink now, no aging benefit.

First time drinking Dr Loosen, heard a lot about it and trying the entry level. Really smooth and delicious wine! Nothing spectacular, but genuinely enjoyable. Fruity, a bit sharp and bitter, but overall great at €17.
