Decoy Pinot Noir

Decoy Pinot Noir - This varietal most famously comes out of the Burgundy region of France. Aromas of cherry/dark cherry. Dry. Decoy also makes a popular Chardonnay. Good pairing with grilled chicken I had for dinner this night.

Light, fruity, semi-dry. Cherries, chocolate with traces of mint. Delightful.

On the nose: notes of an old hunting lodge and/or camping gear. In a good way. Light berries on the tongue and fine vanilla light tannin.

Reasonable basic Pinot. Cherry and violet aromas. Bright red berry/Cherry and cranberry fruit flavors. Hint of baking spices and Forrest Floor. A bit hot and tight, and a bit jammy. Short finish.
