Still a baby. Unbelievably good. Like a hybrid of a classified growth '80s paulliac and an old school Cali cab.

21 vintages down. 13 to go. 1992 holds a firm tannin, bright acidity, classic howell mtn forest floor, bay laurel, slight VA. Noticeable lower elevation ripeness. '87 still reigns king.

Redfruits, a tad sweet almost, not as structured as the Howell Mtn., but in no danger of being past it, fresh and lively, very good, not quite great.
