Initial flavor is very nice- not very complex and thin, but nice. Then the flavor gives way to nothingness. I expected more for an older vintage (for a US wine). Would not buy again.

Currants, blackberry, and spicy on the tongue with a bold, dry, and slightly acidic aftertaste. Probably would have benefited from some aeration. A good choice nonetheless.
