E. Guigal
Côtes du Rhône Red Rhône Blend
Côtes du Rhône, Southern Rhône, Rhône, France
Writing retrospectively so I’m going off memory here. This wasn’t as impressive a wine as Guigal’s red CDR, but still a pleasant if slightly unbalanced white. At this price point, however, I’d take Yves Cuilleron’s IGP Rousanne from a little further north any day.

Full bodied but smoothly textured. Remarkably consistent from vintage to vintage. Beautiful elegance and finesse at this price point.
