This was a pretty special wine because 2007 was the year Raina and I met, and we bought it last year to open on our 10th anniversary. We paired it with gnocchi and brick oven pizza, but I think even at 10 years old it was still a little too tannic. Beautiful aromas, and very delicate for Barolo but it was a little hard to get past the tannins. We maybe should have waited a few more years on this one for it to hit its stride.
