First, I have to comment on the packaging. Simple and elegant, with a simple waxed top which makes for a beautiful bottle. The wine itself is lovely and exemplifies the precision to be found in the 2014 vintage of Oregon Chardonnay. A hint of reduction on the nose, with fresh lemon curd, baby's breath, and green corn husk filling it out. Bright with bracing citrus upon entry, giving way green apples and pears, and finishing with peppery notes. The oak and vanilla show a bit on the mid to back palate, but mellows a bit after a while. Be great to check on in a few years.
