Edna Valley Vineyard
Central Coast Pinot Grigio

I'm working on expanding my regions and grapes so I wanted to try a California Pinot Grigio. I was initially a little underwhelmed by this wine; medium intensity on the nose with lots of apple and a little pear, and the same on the palate but there's nothing super exciting about it. It's smooth, really easy to drink, slightly acidic which is nice with a little note of floral at the end and a short finish. Perhaps I enjoy Italian Pinot Grigio's more but I'm not giving up hope.
