Vintage 1996 - we bought this wine after a visit to Monsieur Edouard Bryczek. We admired all over the garden and in his cave the saint statues of the Holy Mother. He was old. Thanks to the glasses of wine each day, he told us. He showed us the letter of the Vatican with permission to call the wine of a plot with vines from 1920 Jean Paul II, the pope from his birthground Poland. The wine surprises me with its vitality,a smell of milkchocolate, cedar, stable, a wood after rain, it's terrific pinot noir! I have tasted younger bottles with less magic. This is truly glamorous, I bow my head for Edouard, thank you so much!
