Crazy value from Slovakia! Nice weight on this with loads of citrus up front, a mid-palate of sizzling acidity on top of chalk, flint, and pine, and finally a yeasty/bready finish that lasts and lasts. Very cool.

Nose hits with a lot of Meyer lemon, white flowers, and soft delicate fennel. The palate has viscosity and a lingering sharp acidity. The Meyer lemon rears it’s head with white flowers dancing around the tip of the tongue. The acidity really carries.

honey, lemony, marmalade, tropical fruit aroms dominate at first. but it will change eventually. Vibrant acidity balance with it. good complexity arleady shown.

Surprisingly no good given the pedigree of the producer. Quite flat with little acid and little fruit. Just nothing going on. Not corked, but I did wonder if something was wrong with it.
