St. Helena Merlot

American new oak all over the palate, plummy and luscious!

Very Bordeaux style - dark blue/black fruit and spice, with neutral oak adding texture without vanilla. Lovely.

Delivers as usual. Perfect with Skirt steak.

Red fruit, mushroom, umami, soy, earthy, black cherry, strawberry and raspberry. On the palate, black fruit, spice, pepper, Briney, smokey, and savory. Long finish.

Liquid yum...without the tootsie roll in the middle.

It was night, where a good wine was necessary to end the day properly.

Big and profound. Silky palate with loads of dark fruit and black tea.

Merlot can be this good? I should broaden my horizon.
