Mendoza Cabernet Franc
Interesting Cab Franc from Mendoza, not a region that is typically known for single varietal Cabernet Franc. On the nose there is red fruit but not much else, on the palette there is red fruit, dark cherry specifically, nice tannic backbone, and a pleasant spice characteristic. This isn’t a bad wine, it just seems like it is missing something. Fed in to the hype, wasn’t rewarded.

Sep 10th, 2020Fruit forward, vibrant red fruit with very well integrated tannins that gave it really nice structure.

Jan 19th, 2020Nice little wine - well made / balanced bright beam of ripe black cherry w/pepper accents, hint of herbaceous but this was a fruit driven offering meant for intl consumption... medium weight & grip, smooth suave just a bit simplistic for me

Dec 7th, 2019A decent drink but nothing particularly special with this one.

Nov 4th, 2019Red cherry anchors the bright red fruit core with complimentary notes of blackberry, spice, violet, incense and some earthy elements. The plush yet delicate palate is medium to full with silky tannins and a medium but harmonious finish.
I don’t drink Cabernet Franc often, but this is so nice.
