Wagner family project now owned and run by Joe Wagner. Sunshine yellow with aromas of green fruits and nutty notes. Barrel fermented in French oak (50% new) for 14 months with full malolactic fermentation. On the palate flavors of stone fruits and citrus notes with a creamy texture. Good balance, medium length ending with a honey character. Good value.

We enjoyed this one on a hot summer day. It’s got good balance, just the right amount of richness but unlike a lot of Californian chards, the fruit matches.
