Wild rose 🌹 hips. Hagebutten. The stuff which is used for yam in northern Europe. Hint of Gruyere cheese. Although 4 years old this might still need more time to mellow out. Almost orange in color. I will keep this for another 3-4 years.

Nov 30th, 2015This the most interesting Rose I have ever had in my live!!! Untamed like a wild horse. Unbelievably herbaceous. A blend of green apple and sage (black sage as in the costal shrub of California). Drink on its own to be dazzled over many hours or with food. I would think blue cheese or thai or even short rips with a heavy barbecue sauce this rocks! For wine geeks only.

Oct 1st, 2015Wildly funky nose. Gave it two hours to open up and still had a lot going on aromatically and on palate. This wine needs to be paired with food and has some serious spine. Not your average quaffer....
