Revisiting this gnarly wine - similar experience if not a bit more cohesive. Drinks so much better at cellar temp, such impressive weight & flavor extraction

A stale mimosa or a fresh orange wine. As wild as I've seen E&M go. It has some aromatic complexity and depth but it's simple, juicy fermenting orange grapefruit cocktail at core.

What a trip - strap in when you pop the cork on this wine: cloudy & murky this wine is really all over the place, smells like a Belgian Gueze or Saison. Really too much on nose to describe, but on the palate I can’t recall having anything so multi-faceted from salty saline, to liquid potpourri, bitter citrus pith - this sucker had flavors galore, racy acidity & chewy tannins. Finished dry and savory. BTW: had this with fried chicken & hush puppies. Reminds me of a Greek wine Ionnina Orange. Thanks @Lyle Fass
