Very good quality wine with a good complexity and a mineral and somewhat funky identity. Driven by a good freshness and that holds the fruit through a medium lenght finish. Somewhat rowdy but with a fun and playful identity from the hyped Envínate.

Let this bad boy open up for a while. I went 5 days and it was singing!

Tintorera means the flesh as well as the skin of this grape is red burn the label is misleading in its trumpeting the wine as garnacha. In fact it is Alicante bouschet, a grape that is a hybriddeveloped in the 1860s with one parent grenache. The grape struggles to ripen so this wine has zippy acidity and lively cranberry, strawberry, violet and cassis flavors. It finishes a bit short but overall it's a delightful if not terribly serious find

spanish cherry blaster. medium body & medium-high acidity, zippy but soft with a hint of spice, cherry, plum & stone. winery name translates to “wine yourself” which makes me think of “frost yourself” from 10 ways to lose a guy. this has nothing to do with the wine but feels relevant nonetheless after wining myself all night.

From Envinate. Juicy red fruit, bright acidity, medium bodied, herbal notes, with mild pepper finish. Garnacha tintorera (Alicante bouchette), 70%. Moravia Agria (high acid, low alcohol blending grape), 30%. Near Castilla-La Mancha .

Loads of fruit depth. Started with black cherry and blackberry. Some blueberry and then strawberry come out as it opened up. Lots of acidity, so it works great with food.
