Envinate
Albahra Garnacha Tintorera
Very good quality wine with a good complexity and a mineral and somewhat funky identity. Driven by a good freshness and that holds the fruit through a medium lenght finish. Somewhat rowdy but with a fun and playful identity from the hyped Envínate.

In fact it is Alicante bouschet, a grape that is a hybriddeveloped in the 1860s with one parent grenache. The grape struggles to ripen so this wine has zippy acidity and lively cranberry, strawberry, violet and cassis flavors. It finishes a bit short but overall it's a delightful if not terribly serious find

Jun 23rd, 2023spanish cherry blaster. medium body & medium-high acidity, zippy but soft with a hint of spice, cherry, plum & stone. winery name translates to “wine yourself” which makes me think of “frost yourself” from 10 ways to lose a guy. this has nothing to do with the wine but feels relevant nonetheless after wining myself all night.

May 14th, 2019Loads of fruit depth. Started with black cherry and blackberry. Some blueberry and then strawberry come out as it opened up. Lots of acidity, so it works great with food.
