A very sophisticated wine. Unexpectedly subdued on the nose initially, this put on weight aromatically and on the palate in the glass. Delicate flavors that are laser defined and huge persistence. I suspect this would be broader and more 'wow' in 5-10 years but, being Sauzet, it's a gamble holding out that long. Really detailed, fine stuff that left some excellent wines tasted alongside looking pretty plodding.
