2015, I expected a much bigger and more extracted style, especially in this vintage but I was wrong. Much more old world in style with even a hint of green. Dusty and complex, a really nice wine that was correct

My last bottle, haven’t tasted since 2020. At 9 years old the 2015 is drinking really well and prob at its best. An hour decant, ripe red and black fruit, softened yet slightly grippy tannins. A bit green though, surprisingly? Nevertheless a big Napa wine, but not exuberant, it just feels right. Really enjoyable. Brief finish though.
