Wow! This is a charged particle of a wine. Color is still youthful, nose has zingy and very pure cherry fruit, along with very clean cracked stone minerality. In the mouth, the acids take charge. There’s ample fruit to carry it but, yowza, the acidity sure gets the salivary glands going. The quality of the fruit here is special. Not complex, or dense, or long, but very fun to drink with an herby chicken dinner.

The mouth watering acidity and juicy fresh red fruit with touches of licorice, herbs, and mushrooms is great! Wonderful beaujolais.
