As the guy at total wine shared, wasn't as fruity and low-bodied as some of the less expensive California reds tend to be. I agree. I'd like it to be an it smoother, but am also not decanting or aerating it.

This stuff delivers a lot for the pricetag (9,90 in a carrefour market in florence...). Modern fruity Style but with enough acidity and tannins to give the wine some edges.

Needs some time to open up but when it does, I find a nicely polished blend with Bing cherry and blackberry notes with significant earthy ballast. Made for regional food, I think it shines with Asiago, bread and olive oil.
