A little bricking, but not to worry, it is fantastic! A beautiful floral nose riding over just-resolved tannins. No decant, but it could probably benefit from an hour or so

18+. 2004. Deep ruby, little sign of age. Deep and complex nose, unmistakeable mature Sangiovese. Full, concentrated. Soft, tannins resolved. Especially notable on back palate. Very long. Fine.

Insane nose that I couldn't stop sniffing. Cedar and sour cherry. Smoked wood. Medium body, very French, but undoubtedly Sangiovese. Drying finish perfect for steak. 1 point better than bottle 2 months back. Are the '04 Brunellos maturing quickly?

Oct 18th, 2015A very precise, almost Burgundian Brunello. Woodsy dark cherry nose on a perfectly delineated frame of cherry, woodsy leather and soft tannins. Medium body and nice length to the finish. Not the full attack I favour from a Brunello, but an excellent wine, no need to wait.
