Surprisingly showing more maturity than I would have thought. With plenty of plum and wild berry, leather and spice. Tannins are smooth as silk, so no shame in opening now.

Stunning wine from a very good vintage . 2004 Petrolo Galatrona is a gigantic wine, complex , structured , and in highly intense. This 100% merlot could stand side by side with Petrus .
