Barbera de Monferrato

Just ok. Tastes better with food. Lots of cherry and plum, woody, cocoa but no vanilla. Everything is a bit muted. Very tannic, very astringent. Perhaps a young oak. Underwhelmed

Light, dry red wine with a lot of tannins. It was a little acidic and mellowed out on the second day. Recommend it!
