Drinking well at 10 years. Spicy nose of blue fruit, tobacco, and leather. Slightly feral. Mostly Carignane with equal parts Syrah and Grenache with a dash of Cabernet. 14.5% abv.
Despite the 60% new French oak this wine absolutely highlights the stony/mineral character of Licorella soil.

1 person found it helpfulFeb 19th, 2023Beautiful roundness. Mature red fruits and minerality with great acidity. Medium bodied. Delicious.
Side note, used a RePour cork after having one glass, let the bottle sit for 3 days before reopening, and the wine was still incredibly delicious/the same as the day I opened it.
