Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Cracked open this Fess Parker Pinot Noir that we got from a wine dinner at the Toronto Hunt. Really enjoy the fruits with the spice and earthiness.

Dec 26th, 2019 This needs time to breathe as alcohol volume is high and was at first very acidic in mouth. Once it’s decanted, cooled for 90 minutes it relaxed. Opening with intense Maraschino Cherry flavour, a hint of pencil lead hyphenated the heat of menthol and welcomes a strawberry finish still heated by eucalyptus that fills both nose and mouth.
Acidity reduced to underlying saline in the background and thickness in mouth
The menthol is a bit overpowering for Turkey dinner.🍷
