Brilliant marketing and the wine is pretty damn good for $20. The producer is Field Recordings. The wine is Wonderwall. The source is Edna Valley. The varietal is Pinot Noir. And the label is Salvador Dali and his ocelot Babou. Sweet and sour cherry and rhubarb pie, with lots of tea and baking spice and an edge of salty, sandy Central Coast loam.

May 10th, 2018Tonight I am having the 2014 Wonderwall Edna Valley Pinot Noir. I purchased it for $18.99 at my store of choice. On the nose I have a very aromatic Pinot with strawberry, herey, raspberry, cranberry, almond paste, clove and a touch of vanilla. On the palate the strawberry is still right there along with red raspberry, tart cherry and a spice ending. A very burgundian offer. Medium + Acidity, medium low tannin with a crisp long finish. I do like the ripping acidity on the tongue. A nice wine from Wonderwall.
