Approaches the complexities of a Chablis. Impressive because it's made without the Chardonnay grapes... and the only French here is the oak. A nice creaminess to it.

2013v. This white rioja is a nice alternative to a Chardonnay. Honey, a little stone fruit, and flowers on the nose. A little creamy on the tongue due to lees exposure. Descriptions on Total Wine's website mention some smoke, which I eventually tasted on the finish. Balanced acidity. 13% ABV.
