A smooth Dolcetto with good good backbone, bright acidity, and pleasant berry flavors. The tannins may be a tad aggressive, but this is a top-notch, inexpensive everyday wine.

Deeply colored, it has a wonderfully expressive nose of ripe cherry-berry fruit, black plum with nuances of smoke, licorice and an earthy minerality. Very flavorful, refreshing and packed with bright, lively flavors similar to the nose. Good tannic grip provides firmness and structure. Earthiness follows through on the palate. Continues to open up in the glass.

A sharp, tight wine. Aroma of young rose buds, cherries, hint of fresh cut herbs and vanilla. Some dark red fruit in the mid palate. Powerful tannins. Mild acidity. Long, somewhat bitter finish. This wine is shy and beautiful. The subtle flavors and aromas draw you in and leave you wanting more.
