Apple, lemon curd, buttery oak, vanilla, slate, hay and a hint of salinity. Good acidity and balance.

Jul 17th, 2016This was the last of the three Chardonnays we got from Flora Springs Winery for #ChardonnayDay. Slightly lighter in color than the Jon Nathaniel Chardonnay. Definitely has more butter than both the JN and the Family Select. A fun undertone of perfume and juicy fruit gum. Quite smooth from the start with moderate acidity (7/10) and medium bodied. Beautiful citrus notes on the palate that turn a little creamy and a little floral. Long and lingering finish. Softened nicely over two hours, can see how this will continue to gain complexity and integrate even further. Drink till 2020.
