I saved this last bottle from the cellar for my wife’s birthday and it did not disappoint! It was tight upon opening but loosened nicely over an hour. Lots of Rutherford dust on the nose and palette with integrated black fruit and a backend of vanilla. Comparable to the 2007 vintage that I recently opened and reviewed.
