This is so so great. Nose is raspberry and mid season cherry, sous bois up the wazoo, floral, dead and fresh leaves, dried leaves, a forest of leaves, so clean, dynamic and pure. Awesome fresh fruit, so sappy and crunchy, mid season cherries, so deep, awesome tannins, ripe but substantial, so long. No rush.

About 2 years from my last btl. Another spectacular showing. This has the density and poise of grand cru fruit. On the nose: pure sweet strawberry, cherry, balsam and spice. Clear stylish, well-judged, oak influence. Lovely acidiry and fantastically balanced density and weight. Long finish. This has plenty of upside still. Who says 2013s can't be exciting?
