My first taste of Folkway, lovely Bordeaux blend using no new oak. Very approachable straight out of the bottle, definitely new world style, but paired extremely well with strip steak and baked potato. Fruit, acid and tannin all in balance.

Aug 25th, 2018Really interesting blend. The big dose of Cab Franc gives it nice herbal notes on the palate, but there's still plenty of juicy berry and green pepper on the nose. Decanting isn't necessary but helps the complexity really emerge.
